KATHMANDU, MAY 20

British climber Jay Whiting who aims to complete 'Everest Triple Crown' this season today scaled Mt Lhotse, according to expedition organiser.

"On the morning of May 20, 2025, at 11:40 AM local time, two climbers from the HG Lhotse Expedition 2025, organized by Himalayan Guides Nepal, successfully reached the summit of Mount Lhotse (8,516 meters)," said Iswari Paudel, Managing Director at Himalayan Guides.

Jay Whiting along with Dawa Tenji Sherpa climbed Lhotse after scaling Nuptse this season.
