There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Koshi and Sudurpaschim Provinces today.
In addition, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in some hilly areas across the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, monsoon winds are currently influencing weather conditions nationwide. As a result, partly to generally cloudy skies are expected across the country throughout the day.
There is also a possibility of light to moderate rainfall and snowfall at a few locations in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of all provinces.
Later tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy in Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces and other hilly areas, while partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected elsewhere.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at some locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at a few places in other parts of the country.
Furthermore, heavy to very heavy rainfall is also possible at one or two locations in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces. Light to moderate rain and snowfall are expected at a few places in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of all provinces.
