KATMANDU, MAY 31
The inaugural edition of the Indian Ambassador's Cricket Tournament, organised by the Embassy of India in Nepal, kicked off here at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground on Saturday.
A total of six teams -- Indian Embassy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal, United Kingdom Embassy, Federation of Nepali Journalists, Corporates, and Indian Diaspora -- are taking part in the four-day tournament.
Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava, UK Ambassador Rob Fenn and MoFA Joint Secretary (South Asia) Bhrigu Dhungana inaugurated the tournament.
EoI and MoFA Nepal faced each other in the opening match.
