KATHMANDU, MAY 31

The price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, a day after it had dropped by Rs 1,500.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 188,500 per tola, up from Rs 187,800 on Thursday.

In contrast, silver saw a decline of Rs 15 per tola. It is being traded at Rs 1,980 today, down from Rs 1,995 on Thursday.
